Mussenden at Dawn
This is a recent shot I took at Downhill Beach at dawn. Read more here:
Dusk Till Dawn
It is natural when taking landscape photography to visit a location more than once in the hope of getting the perfect conditions for the shot you are trying to achieve, but I have never visited a location in such quick succession as last weekend at Mussenden Temple. Read more here.
Knockcree
Landscape photography is always a bit unpredictable, especially with the weather this time of year. Even though I got drenched and beaten with gale force winds yesterday, it was worth waiting, as there will always be that short period of 3 to 4 minutes when you get to set up and take your shot. A lot of decisions to make in a short space of time.
More available here.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
FIRST IMPRESSIONS is my first book. It has been produced as part of a promotional drive to get my work out there. I have added an electronic copy on facebook to let you check it out at your leisure. You may see a copy of this when you are out and about over the next few weeks.
Downhill
This is a small section of beach below Mussenden Temple in Downhill. I will be surprised if anyone has been here as it involved jumping across an operational railway track and I had a mild fear that the tide would cut me off. Standing in the usual predictable spots would certainly be easier.

Signature
Towards the end of last month I had the opportunity of visiting the ‘Signature’ project in Belfast. This building ‘Titanic Belfast’ has to be one of the most iconic structures I have ever set eyes on. Below are a few shots I have processed, with more available here.
During my visit I had the pleasure of spending a few hours with Donal McCann, the official...

Panoramic Landscape
Taken from the top of Slieve Muck overlooking the Mourne Mountains in Northern Ireland, this finished piece is built up of 12 high resolution images over 4 exposures and took around 2 hours in pure standstill laptop processing time (4 hours overall). With over 92M pixels this piece will make fantastic wall decor.
North Coast Shots
Having spent a few days up north this week I couldn’t help myself but take some more shots along this outstanding coastline. This is becoming a great little project of mine. More here:
Landscape - Galgorm
I spotted this photographic opportunity whilst out for a walk yesterday. I didn’t have my camera with me at the time (a blessing looking back now) but I revisited the location later that evening to find the sun was in the perfect position in the sky. What you see below was the exact way I wanted the final image to look even before I had released the shutter. I hope you like.

Mournes
Last Sunday I had the pleasure of spending the day with a close friend on mine in the Mournes. He obviously thought I was a lot fitter that I am, by starting the adventure off by heading up Slieve Muck. It was well worth the effort and once my heart rate had lowered to an acceptable level I got some great shots. Coming Soon!

Landscape
‘Landscape’ is an area of photography I have become very passionate about. Finding yourself that perfect location, composing the shot to best capture the atmosphere and emotion of the scene in front of you and waiting for that perfect light and cloud cover to pass by….. there’s no better feeling.
Below are a selection of some of my favourites. More can be found here....
Street
This type of photography is not something that I really get involved with that often but for me it is some of the most interesting to look at. Going back through these images has given me a spark of motivation to take a bit more of this style of photography. More of this type of image available here.
Construction Photography
Over the past 3 years I have been concentrating a lot of my photography on construction, mainly focussing on civil engineering projects I am personally involved with. It’s not a particularly pretty area of photography but I find it really interesting to shoot. Once the concrete goes into place these shots can never be captured again.
Below are a few shots from a wastewater scheme we have...

Fresh Start
Hopefully this marks the start of a new look for me and my work. Up until now I have been using various galleries and links to showcase my work. It becomes difficult at times when you have different types of photography under different locations and you are bouncing people in all sorts of directions to see specific types of photography. Well now it is nice to send people to a central location and...
